Super Sunday Spent at Sandon

try saying that quickly lol. Anyway it really was lovely we had some glorious weather which made us all feel good to start with. We then sampled the latest techniques in our crop class. We took along some fabulous stash for our lovely scrappers to stroke and buy. We also had our youngest EVER scrapper turn up - 10 weeks old - and definitely the star of the crop! In between ordering all the LUSH new products from this summers CHA we managed to squeeze in a small but perfectly formed crop in the shop on Sunday. If you missed it details for future crops are here.

We seem to be having a bit of a thing with the fab papers from Kaisercraft - Le Chateau both Sue and Chris were using them. Chris was making an amazing house mini album and Sue was using up the rest of the papers from her LO here. They do a long way....

Flower Child

not a person the collection from Bo Bunny!! Sadly we are now running low on stocks of this but we we wanted to share a very simple LO made using this collection.

We cut the middle out of the paper so we could add yellow cardstock. Loads of flowers were cut out of the patterned paper and we adhered them in a cluster some flat and some on 3D pads

Leaves were punched using these

Pine Punch and Grass

Photos were matted onto red paper that had been punched with this - Dot Edger Punch arguably the best border punch :) - or maybe not we have more here

Cropped Out - again

...and we are back with more news and photos from last weekends Mini Retreat.

Remember we told you about the gorgeous LO designed by Ifa Zainon - well we have a photo.

Worth waiting for yes? - The kit is made up from Crate Paper Brooke Collection and we have a few left for sale. We also have a couple of the previous kit we shared Bee Happy from Nikki Sivils - Just give us a ring or email us Both kits are JAM PACKED with papers and embellishments more than enough for just one LO.

The third kit we were GIVEN was made up from Jillibean Soup - this was our 'Ready Steady Scrap' kit. Which come with rules - easy enough you have to deign a LO add it to the gallery - 'stick it on the wall' lol and use ONLY what is in the kit no extras although you can use tools.

We had some fabulous LO's - all the papers are double sided and the LO's all look so different. We then got to vote for our favourite LO - we had 3 winners and the photos for this will be posted next time - so come back they are worth a look.

We started the day at 10 with coffee/tea and treats - well lets be honest coffee/tea and treats were consumed ALL day - its the law isn't it when you are scrapping with a group?

We had 2 class kits one from Sue and one from the incredibly talented Ifa Zainon.

First up was BEE HAPPY - using the gorgeous Willow Bee paper from Nikki Sivils
