Guest Design Team - DONE!!!

We are so excited about this post - because we get to share our news and you get to meet our extremely talented Guest Design Team.

THANK YOU to everyone who submitted - we had an overwhelming response. We had some amazing entries - who knew there was so much talent out there. We talked and viewed and discussed at great length as to who we should pick. You really DID NOT make it easy for us - but what a great job we had looking at all the creations that were sent to us.

So as promised some exciting news...........Is this for you?

What we are we looking for?

Scrap Revolution is looking for several talented paper crafters to be

‘Guest Designers’

to assist in promoting Scrap Revolution. Your ability to take a good photograph or scan of your finished projects is almost as important as your crafting talent. We are looking for designers who are able to incorporate techniques into their projects. e.g. through the use of stamps, inks, paints, templates, masks or tools.

What is expected of you?

* You will be required to create a minimum of 3 projects including 1 card, 1 layout and either an altered art project or a second layout from stash which we will provide. You will have at least 3 weeks to complete your designs and email good quality photos and any instructions and hints and tips to us. You may use stamps, inks, templates and tools from your own stash BUT please ensure it can be bought from Scrap Revolution.

* You will be expected to link back to and promote Scrap Revolution on your blog and online forums where permitted.

What’s in it for you?

* The opportunity to have your designs showcased on our blog and to develop your crafting ability

* We will link to your personal blog

* A kit will be sent to you with goodies new and old at least 3 weeks before your deadline for you to design with.

* You will be entitled to a 20% discount on anything in the shop (excluding sale items, die cutting machines and Bind It All) on your next order

* 3 good JPEG images of your work. (1 card, 1 layout and one altered art project.) 1 of the projects should include at least 2 different techniques and for this one please write a short tutorial for the project

* Your contact information including name and postal address.

* A short bio. Tell us a bit about yourself and what you think your scrapping style is. You may include details of online galleries where your work is displayed or design teams you currently belong to (or have previously belonged to). This is not essential and will not affect your application.

* Link to your blog. There will be brownie points if you have linked back to Scrap Revolution blog!

Deadline for entries is 4^th March 2011.
